Race Timeline
The Race Timeline reconstructs the race from the accumulated lap times of the top six finishers. It measures each driver against the leader’s average race pace; otherwise, the leader’s trace would overlap the x-axis. Each line converges toward zero at the finish, where the finishing order and gaps can be read. The slope shows relative pace, while pit stops, Safety Cars and Virtual Safety Cars appear as discontinuities. In short, this is the race as it happened—pace, strategy and interruptions preserved in time.

Race Distributions
Race Distributions plot each driver’s lap-time percentiles, with the vertical scale zoomed into the representative racing laps. The slower side of the distribution reflects race entropy—traffic, pit stops, interruptions and other lost time. Toward the upper quartile, those effects fall away and the curves reveal each driver’s pure pace. The shape and separation of the distributions show both outright speed and how consistently it was delivered.

Race Sorted Time
Race Sorted Time reintegrates the lap-time distributions in percentile order—as if every driver completed the slowest laps first and the fastest laps last. It is the same total race time, rearranged to allow direct comparison between drivers. On the left, the height of each curve shows time lost to race entropy. On the right, the slope shows how that lost time was recovered through pure pace. All curves converge at the finish, preserving the actual race result and gaps.
