British GP —Bravo Charles !

Silverstone: no clear outliers.

Charles won Silverstone from the front. He was never clearly the fastest, but a great start gave him track position and clean air. While everyone behind fought and lost time, every unobstructed lap Charles completed was faster than their compromised ones. He won—and winning Silverstone is a big deal.

The race we missed was Kimi against Charles. Kimi had recovered to second and was closing when his car failed, dropping him out of contention. We never learned whether he could complete the chase.

Then Max crashed and the late Safety Car compressed the field, erasing the gaps that give PWG’s instruments their scale. George, Lewis, Lando and Isack finished almost together, but the neutralized ending tells us little about their true separation.

With Kimi removed from the contest, no clear outlier emerged. Silverstone fell back into Mediocristan: a dense second tier of excellent drivers producing signals too close to distinguish.
