This chart shows the race timeline using real elapsed time.
The long race suspension is preserved in the calculation, so the gap values continue to accumulate during the pause. That creates the large downward movement before the restart and compresses the useful race information after the suspension.
For that reason, this chart should not be read as a clean pace comparison.
Before the suspension, the field follows the normal Monaco pattern: limited separation, similar progression, and little opportunity for passing.
After the restart, the sharp recovery in the lines reflects the race reset and the preserved time gap, not an actual performance jump.
The chart remains useful as a record of the race structure, but the suspension makes it unsuitable for detailed pace interpretation.
For Monaco, the pace distribution is the better instrument.

The first quartile is mostly lost to Monaco entropy: traffic, launch phase, early positioning, and the limited ability to create clean laps.
The useful signal is in Q2, Q3, and Q4.
ANT shows the strongest pace distribution. His curve stays consistently ahead through the meaningful range, confirming the race result was supported by pace, not only track position.
HAM is close and clearly competitive. He is shining again, but the gap to ANT remains visible. Close enough to confirm form, not close enough to challenge the lead.
HAD sits in the next band. Under normal race order, that space would likely have been occupied by the missing front runners: VER, NOR, RUS, and LEC.
PIA, LAW, and LIN complete the distribution, with their relative positions shaped by Monaco traffic and the disrupted race structure.
